After Catholic Schoolhouse, Emma and I raced up to Carmel to go to the Compassion Experience. It was really neat. I think today is their last day, but it was a mobile unit that was set up in two sections to let you see what life was like for two real children in another part of the world. Before entering, you had to pick a child, then you got a headset and an ipod to listen to that child telling their story. The beginning was a little intense for Emma (and she had the toned-down child version!), but we made it through, and it was really good.
After the Compassion Experience, we came home to rest for an hour and a half before Emma's ballet and tap classes this evening. Well, I have about 40 minutes left to rest before ballet, and I think I'm going to send out an email, and then go put my feet up for a bit! I've pretty much been standing, walking, or driving ALL DAY!
God Bless,
Dana
