On Thursday, we got up super early and drove to Fort Wayne, Indiana to meet my new Napro dr, Dr. Stroud. He was FABULOUS! Totally worth the 2 1/2 hr drive. :-) I brought everything we were taking, and my Creighton charts. After talking to us for awhile, and looking at my stuff, he said that everything we're already doing is perfect, and he wants to check my progesterone level at peak (ovulation) plus 7 (so, 7 days afterwards) while ON progesterone (I've never had that tested that way), and he also wants me to start taking more blood thinners post-peak too. He said that by just getting the right amount of progesterone, and being on blood thinners, that we should have no problem keeping the next baby. :-) I'm so excited! He also said that with the amount of blood thinners that I'll be on, I'll still be able to go to the dentist, have surgery, AND have the natural birth I've been dreaming of! Since he's in Ft. Wayne, I can see him for prenatal/birth if I want to drive, or I can see someone else locally for that, and he can manage my progesterone etc. long distance. I LOVED him!!! On to today's excitement! Emma received her First Holy Communion and was enrolled in the Brown Scapular today! It was just as beautiful as I thought it would be. I even teared up a little when she received Our Lord for the first time in the Eucharist. All I could think of was how extremely excited her brother and sisters in Heaven likely were for her. :-)
