My Monday yesterday, was AMAZING! My SoulCore videos had come in the mail over the weekend, so I started my day by exercising while praying a rosary (okay, I got through just over 1 decade before collapsing on the floor). Then, we just kinda lounged around until it was time to take Emma to her godmother's house so I could go to my Napro appointment alone. I LOVE my Napro doctor! Her name is Casey Reising, and her office is located on the north side of Indianapolis at the corner of 86th and Moller Road. Being the daughter of an awesome nurse, I've learned over the years how to tell a sincere, really good doctor from a meh doctor from a RUN AWAY FAST doctor. Dr. Reising is definitely in the first category. After listening to my story about my experiences with fertility, infertility, fertility doctors, etc., she very carefully and gently explained all the tests she wanted to run on me and why. She explained all the conditions she was looking for, how they could impact fertility, and how we would approach each scenario. She was curious, but encouraging about all of my vitamins, supplements, and essential oil use. She said that she had recently gotten the Young Living starter kit, but hadn't really gotten into them much yet. She was especially curious about my recipes that I use for my hypothyroidism and depression. So I emailed her my recipes this morning. I finally have hope of at least getting some real answers, if not a baby. So excited to be working with her! So, on to my Monday-ish Tuesday. It started out great. I worked out with my SoulCore video again, and got through ALMOST 2 decades before collapsing! Then, I came downstairs to send my emails, do some stuff on the computer, and have my morning cup of tea before Emma woke up. She woke up, came downstairs, and dared to want breakfast. ;-) I went into the kitchen to fix her breakfast, and a MOUSE scurried across the floor, and behind the dishwasher. I, obviously, wasn't expecting a mouse in my kitchen, so I screamed and called the dog. She came running, but the mouse was already safely behind the dishwasher. I called the exterminator, who we already had a contract with because of the gnat problem. He'll be out tomorrow afternoon. In the meantime, the house was, of course, a train wreck, so I spent the rest of the day (except for a quick lunch out, a quick stop at Meijer to get a couple more vitamins that the Napro wanted me to add that I didn't have yet, and the library) cleaning, doing the dishes (which I detest - that's usually hubby's job), and catching up on laundry. When he finally gets home, I'm exhausted, stressed, and a little sore from working out. I mention the mouse, and that the exterminator is coming tomorrow. Emma says that I screamed, and he started laughing. I mean seriously laughing. Cracking up, actually. I wanted to punch him. Sure, where he grew up, having a mouse in the house was a common occurrence, but this was the first for me (that I remember, anyway). Besides, it's not like I was actually scared of the thing. I was mostly just surprised and startled. I finally got (mostly) over being ticked at him, was writing this post, pushed a wrong button, and had to start completely from scratch. Anyway, let's just say it's a good thing I already had a massage scheduled for tonight.
Hope your Tuesday is going better than mine. :-( Dana
